We Need Help During the Coronavirus Pandemic
Reaching a goal of $500 will ensure we provide pet food and supplies in a safe manner to people with pets experiencing homelessness during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Corona-virus Disease (COVID-19)
An infectious disease caused by a new virus that had not been previously identified in humans. The virus causes respiratory illness (like the flu) with symptoms such as a cough, fever and in more severe cases, pneumonia. You can protect yourself by practicing social distancing, self isolation, washing your hands frequently and avoiding touching your face.
How It Spreads
The new corona-virus spreads primarily through contact with an infected person when they cough or sneeze, or through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose.
Keeping Our Programs and Operations Going
These are trying times, but this is when the community really comes together and is at its best. Despite the current unknowns, our mission remains and there is still work to be done. Funds are needed now more than ever to keep our programs and operations going, so those most vulnerable experiencing homelessness with pets in need of pet food, supplies and medication receive them, and to continue to cover the costs of spay/neuter to keep pets healthy and with their families and prevent more litters from being born on the streets and entering overcrowded shelters (especially during spring). We want to continue to serve and provide for the public while keeping everyone safe and protected against COVID-19.
Every dollar makes a difference and Kindest is matching the first $100 given. Please consider making a donation today.
All funds will go towards the operations to keep the programs going and be able to offer pet food, supplies and services in the midst of COVID-19.
