Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19)

An infectious disease caused by a new virus that had not been previously identified in humans. The virus causes respiratory illness (like the flu) with symptoms such as a cough, fever and in more severe cases, pneumonia. You can protect yourself by washing your hands frequently and avoiding touching your face.

How It Spreads

The new coronavirus spreads primarily through contact with an infected person when they cough or sneeze, or through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose.

Keeping Our Doors Open

It is a scary time to call a community together, however, this is what we do in a time of crisis. The unknown is fearful for many of us, but in the midst of it all our mission remains and there is still work to be done. If we are unable to receive the funds needed to keep our programs operating virtually during this pandemic, we will fail those we serve.

Our Youth Needs Your Help

In order to stay open during this time of crisis, we need the funds to be able to provide virtual music lessons to our youth. With the closing of all schools, we were forced to find a way to fulfill our mission while keeping our staff and volunteers feeling safe and protected against COVID-19. Virtual instruction was the answer!

Virtual Lessons Program

On March 24, we launched our virtual lessons program. There are higher costs associated with virtual instruction, which is why we need your help. Your financial support will ensure that underserved K-12 youth in our community continue to receive expert orchestral instruction and access to free orchestral instruments.

Music has the power to transform lives. We see artists all over the world, sharing their gifts and talents to comfort our world during this pandemic. Our youth need music now more than ever. Without you, the ability for music lessons to comfort the hearts of youth in our community may be lost. Can we count on you to not let this happen?

Every dollar makes a difference. Please consider making a donation today.

All funds will go towards our virtual lessons programs in response to the COVID-19 epidemic.
